Extraction is done to THC from cannabis plants to then use the THC in oils, resins, and other products.

However, THC is only partially legal in only certain states in the U.S. It is used for medicinal purposes in some states. Both recreationally and for medicinal purposes in others. It still remains illegal in the better part of the U.S.

The "war" on THC has been going on for years. People have proved beyond a reasonable doubt that THC helps them and can be used medicinally. The US government has yet to fully legalize it.
